THE GIANTS OF MALGOVERT

Once upon a time in Arc 1600, at the heart of the "Mont Blanc" blue piste, there was a mysterious protected forest. Some said that it was there that "the finest skiing in les Arcs" was to be found. But this winter, something extraordinary is going to happen. Three giants will emerge from the ground, wooden giants more than 7 metres tall.

Sculpted to resemble the majestic silhouettes of the mountains, they inspire the curious to climb them in every imaginable way: from the outside in, from top to bottom, from right to left and many more ways besides. Inside these giant wooden mazes are hidden innumerable surprises: walls to be climbed, secret doors to be discovered, platforms perched in the trees, a giant game of pick up sticks to be untangled, walkways which challenge your balance and even nests made of ropes for relaxing. But these giants will not only be there to entertain the adventurous, but will also have a more important role.

These giants will be the guardians of the forest, making sure that people of all ages are made aware of the importance of mountain forests in the preservation of our precious natural environment.

THE VANOISE BALCONY IS BEING RENOVATED IN STYLE

Get ready to rediscover this spot perched at an altitude of 2150m. This year, the Vanoise Balcony is being enlarged to bring you an even more splendid experience. This south-facing terrace opens up a breathtaking view over the Bellecôte chain and the Aiguille Rousse. You will be blown away and that’s a promise!

To reach this little corner of paradise, nothing could be easier! Put on your skis and take the 2300 chairlift in Peisey-Vallandry. A nugget not to be missed this season!
