Jean Dufour

Introduction:

As a cutlery artisan based in Savoie, I design and craft kitchen knives in stainless steel, entirely handmade in my workshop. My work is driven by the pursuit of balance, ergonomics, and precision of movement, with the aim of offering durable tools designed for demanding everyday use.
Alongside this, I develop a small collection of earrings made from wood offcuts from knife handles, as part of an approach focused on re-use and material valorization. Each piece is unique or produced in very small batches, with particular attention paid to lines, textures, and the overall coherence of the collection.
